8th graders will resume the M-Step today (4.16.15) and Friday in the morning. The subject tested is Math.
8th graders interested in running for class president, vice-president, or secretary/treasurer in next year's Student Council group, pick up petitions in the high school office and have them returned by this Friday, April 17. Speeches and elections will be held on Wednesday, April 22.
If you are interested in performing at the annual Glen Lake Middle School talent show, there is a sign up sheet in Mrs. Okerlund's room. The deadline for all sign ups is May 13th, and the show is on May 22nd. If you are already signed up remember to practice, practice, practice! There won't be any school-held practices.
The homeroom competition this week is outside and active, so please wear appropriate clothes and shoes. Teachers, the Student Council would greatly appreciate it if you read the instructions for the game to your homeroom before the competition begins. Student Council members will be there if you need any questions answered before the game starts.

The anti bullying group will be meeting at lunch next Wednesday.
There will be a Walk for Autism event at the track during ASC on Wednesday, April 29th. Donations of $1 or more are needed if you plan to participate. All benefits will go towards paying for Anthony Ianni, a basketball player from Michigan State, to come speak at our school.
